What a Christmas gift! This is a breeding that I have been waiting for for years!
Hans- Wow what a dog. Son of "Fritz SMCNA Dog of the Decade", Hans has been elected SMCNA Dog of the Year twice, first Small Munsterlander NAVHDA Versatile Champion, inducted into the Birddog Hall of Fame to mention just a few of his accomplishments.
Rhode's End Ally (Kate) is a daugher of Han's, she has a NAVHDA Utility Test Prize III, trained and handled by a first timer- me! Bred to Gunwood's Chance v Cain (Max) her first litter (Dot's) earned a SMCNA/ NAVHDA breeders award, we are still waiting for the one for the second litter. She is not only an excellent hunter, but is a frequent visitor at my elementary school where she helps love to interact with students. Conformation -Very Good, Coat Excellent. PennHip .26 You see her and nothing but a pup out of Hans will do!
Dot earned NA prize II at 5.5 months- no small feat considering she had spent the previous month riding in the back seat while we worked Huricane Katrina. She has all of Kate's drive, power and looks and Max's temperment and bidability. Conformation -Very Good, Coat Excellent. PennHIP .32, she has been hunting dove, duck, quail, and pheasants since 8 months old. She is a regular at the Bar R Ranch Hunting Preserve where on a typical morning she will retrieve 50- 100 pheasants. The last with the same style and gusto as the first. She also goes to school with me.
She is bred to the Versatile Champion VC Andreas v O'Meara/Sengpiel call name Hans. This is a line breeding to her grandfather via artificial insemination by Dr Law's vet clinic in Kansas. These should be hard hunting, high prey drive dogs, and excellent in the house.
They should be ready to be picked up on December 21 2007.
On my pups, I guarantee that their hips will test out at good or better OFA or .50 or better Penn HIP at the age of 2 otherwise I will refund 1/2 of the purchase price upon receipt of a vet conformation of spay or neutering and NA testing in NAVHDA.
I do not guarantee breeding ability as there are so many factors that go into determining whether a particular dog will make an improvement to our breed. However, I expect this litter will round out my breeding program and provide me with breeding stock for my kennel (But that is just my opinion). Price is $1500 a pup, male or female, with a $500 deposit to hold your place. At the time the litter hits the ground, you have a chance to change your mind but after that the deposit is non-refundable. The price is for pickup in Broken Bow OK at 7-9 weeks. Holding them after 9 weeks I charge $50 a week for boarding. At 6 weeks new owners will pick out their pups starting with first pick and working down from there. I realize that that will mean a lot of them will have to be picked by photographs, but with a breeding of this quality you should be able to put them into 2 boxes , male and female, walk past and grab one sight unseen and walk out the door. (Out of the 19 Blue Moon pups produced so far , all the owners have been more than happy with their pups) Some will have the opportunity to come and see them sooner, or several times but since some like to get their pups at 49 days people have to have their picks in by then.
Visitors are welcome. The new owners will have the opportunity to take their pups for a health checkup within 7 days and if the vet says their is something seriously wrong healthwise I will refund the money on return of the pup. (By this time the pups will have had a couple trips to my vet for checkups vaccinations, worming ect. ) In return I expect the pups to be NA Tested in NAVHDA before they are 16 months. This tells me how the entire breeding has turned out. The pups will have
SMCNA and
NAVHDA registrations and the first time owner will receive a years membership in
SMCNA. Whew! That is basicly my puppy information. I try to improve the breed, I do my best to match the males and the females to produce outstanding pups. Are they for first time puppy owners? Well that depends. Out of the first 2 litters I have had a lot of first time owners and first time handlers in
NAVHDA, and they have done well. This breeding like the last 2 should produce Outstanding dogs only even better. There are 6 dogs reserved so far 2 males 4 females, to 3 experienced
NAVHDA members and 3 first time
NAVHDA people. These pups should have what it takes to go all the way to become a Versatile Champion. For an Outstanding pup out of Outstanding bloodline from an Outstanding breed, give me a call at 580-420-7100 or 580-236-1215.
